Book exhibition at EADIs General Conference
Terms & Conditions
The conference organisers offer the following promotional opportunities for commercial publishers and (member) institutes:
Book exhibition for commercial publishers and (member) institutes (book sale):
- Daily fee (per stand): 150 EUR
- First conference day (21 September): 100 EUR
Leaflet insert in the conference documents and publisher's link on the conference website:
- Fee per conference folder: 0.50 EUR
Advert in the conference programme
- Fee per conference folder: 1.00 EUR (1/2 page)
Information stand for member institutes and institutes participating in the conference (without commercial purposes):
- Daily fee (per stand): 50 EUR
General information: The Conference, which is organised every three years, attracts approximately 500 to 700 researchers, faculty staff, students, policy-makers and other people working in the field of development.
- Location of the book exhibition: The Conference will take place at the International Congress Centre Bundeshaus Bonn (IKBB), at Görrestrasse 15, 35113 Bonn. The exhibition will take place in a large hallway, at the centre of the Conference meeting place (See: Photos of the hallway and conference venue). The space available for publishers participating in the book exhibition will be 6 sqare meters each.
- Transportation: The publishers are responsible for getting their books to and from the exhibition. The books have to be carried to the conference venue the day of the exhibition, at 8 am (first conference day: between 12 am and 2 pm). In case this should not be possible, please contact the German Development Institute (DIE, e-mail below) for further information.
- Items & facilities: Tables (1.8m x 0.9m) and chairs will be provided by the conference organisers. All other items have to be organised by the publishers. For special technical requirements and facilities, please contact the DIE (e-mail below).
- Staff: Publishers / institutes are responsible for the personnel in charge of their stand. If necessary, the host institute in Bonn, DIE, will recruit personnel for stands (fee: 22 EUR per person and hour + tax). Please contact the DIE (e-mail below) concerning specific requirements.
- Deadline: Interested publishers are requested to indicate their interest and special requirements to the DIE by 12 August, 2005.
